Knight Online Items Guide: Drops, Upgrades and Noah

In short: In Knight Online you get items through drops, anvil upgrades and Noah trade. On ChromeKO you find which monster drops an item on the drop page and check upgrade odds on the upgrade simulator, which uses no Noah.

In Knight Online you get items in three ways: drops from monsters, upgrades at the anvil, and trading for Noah. On ChromeKO you look up which monster drops an item on the drop page, and you check upgrade odds on the upgrade simulator, which lets you try without spending Noah. This page shows where each topic is explained in detail. To see the game for yourself, try it now as a guest.

Which monster drops an item?

If you want an item, first find the monster that drops it. The drop list guide explains how to type an item name, see the monsters that drop it and open their zones on the map. Once you know the monster, the leveling spots guide helps you choose where to hunt it for your level.

A party raises your drop chance. Each extra party member within 100 metres adds 5% to the drop chance, up to +30%. Noah is not included in this bonus. The party guide explains how parties work, including what happens when a member disconnects.

Premium packages can also affect drops. The premium guide explains which premium types exist and what each one gives; you do not need premium to play.

How does an upgrade work?

An upgrade moves an item up one plus level at the anvil. The scroll you use sets the odds. Upgrade Scroll, Blessed Upgrade Scroll and Trina's Piece each have their own rates. The upgrade guide explains which scroll to use and how the odds work.

Here is the rule to remember: on ChromeKO a failed upgrade loses the item, the scroll and the Noah together. Check the current rates on the upgrade simulator before every attempt. Rates can change over time, so this guide does not print fixed numbers.

Every upgrade attempt costs 10,000 Noah. Unique items use the Blessed Upgrade Scroll, so check which scroll your item needs before you start.

Where does Noah come from?

There is no single shortcut to Noah in Knight Online. On ChromeKO Noah comes from quest rewards, drops and item sales together. The Noah farming guide helps you plan each source; track quests on the quests page and drops on the drop page.

Because every upgrade costs Noah, decide first which item is worth upgrading. Spending Noah on an item you will not use is the fastest way to run out.

Plan your hunt by zone

Once you know which monster drops an item, open its zone on the map page. The map shows each monster's level and spawn areas. If quest targets are in the same zone, you can plan one trip that covers the quest, the EXP and the drop together.

Premium and the PUS Store

Premium is a time-limited package sold in the PUS Store. Each type gives benefits such as EXP, Noah or drops. You do not need it to play, and nobody has to buy it to progress. KC is bought only with real money and cannot be earned in the game. For current prices, see the shop page; this guide does not list prices.

Rebuy: getting items back

If you sell an item to an NPC by mistake or lose one to destruction, Rebuy can buy it back. Rebuy covers items sold to an NPC or destroyed. It does not bring back an item burned in a failed upgrade. The daily rewards guide explains Rebuy along with the other daily systems.

Which guide should you read first?

  1. Drop list: find where an item drops.
  2. Upgrade guide: learn how scrolls and odds work.
  3. Noah farming: plan how to earn the Noah you need.
  4. Premium guide: understand the optional packages.

Common mistakes

  • Upgrading without checking the odds. A failed attempt costs the item, the scroll and the Noah.
  • Mixing up the party drop bonus with Noah. The bonus does not include Noah.
  • Expecting Rebuy to restore an item burned in a failed upgrade. It does not.
