Knight Online Party Guide: Shared EXP and Drop Bonus

In short: In Knight Online, party members share EXP, each extra member within 100 metres raises item drop chances by 5%, up to 30%, and Noah is not included in that bonus. A member who disconnects is taken back if they return within 5 minutes.

This Knight Online party guide explains the structure that shares EXP and raises your drop chances. Every extra party member within 100 metres raises all item drop chances by 5%, up to 30%, which a full 7-person party reaches. This guide covers the rules: shared EXP, the limits of the drop bonus, how Noah is split and how a member returns after a disconnect.

To feel how a party works, you can try it with try it now as a guest. The guest character is a Karus Rogue; to form a party under your own name you need a free account.

Knight Online party guide: shared EXP

Party members share EXP. This speeds up leveling compared with hunting alone, especially in the early levels. A party with balanced roles gets the most from the shared EXP: the Warrior holds the front, the Priest supports, and the Mage and Rogue add ranged or fast attacks. For the four roles, see the classes overview.

Drop bonus: 5% for each extra member

On the party of the player who hits a monster most, every extra member within 100 metres raises all item drop chances by 5%. The bonus tops out at 30%, which a full 7-person party reaches.

The increase is calculated proportionally, so a low-chance item also rises a little with the bonus. Note that the bonus applies to items only. Noah is not included.

Noah and loot sharing

In a party, Noah is shared among nearby members by level, so a lower-level friend still gets a share while you progress together. For how Noah is earned, read the Noah farming guide.

Loot follows these rules:

  1. For the first 60 seconds, only the owner and the owner's party can take the loot.
  2. After that, the loot opens to everyone.
  3. Items are handed out in turn within the party.
  4. A member who is more than 100 metres away, trading, or unable to carry the item is skipped in the turn.

Disconnect: the 5-minute rule

If your connection drops, you refresh the page or you press F5, you may leave the party. If you return within 5 minutes, you are taken back into the party. After that, you need to rejoin.

If you play on a phone, keep a stable Wi-Fi or good 4G / 5G connection and close other apps. For the mobile setup, read the mobile guide.

Premium and the party

Premium adds an extra drop boost on regular item slots and works alongside the party bonus. You can find the premium types in the premium guide. You can enjoy the game without premium.

Which class brings what to a party?

  • Warrior: Holds the front and draws the enemy's attention.
  • Priest: Keeps the party alive with healing and support.
  • Mage: Adds ranged damage to the group.
  • Rogue: Attacks from different angles and fills the gaps.

For each class in detail, read the Warrior guide, Priest guide, Mage guide and Rogue guide. A good party is one where every member knows their role.

How to organise a party

  1. Talk through each member's role first: front line, support and ranged balance.
  2. Keep everyone within 100 metres, since both the bonus and loot turns depend on it.
  3. Give a disconnected member 5 minutes, then invite again if they do not return.
