Knight Online Mobile: How to Play on Android and iPhone

In short: To play Knight Online mobile on ChromeKO, open chromeko.com in Chrome on Android or Safari on iPhone and add it to your home screen. The game then opens full screen from its icon, and you do not need to download an app.

Want to play Knight Online mobile on your phone? You don't need a separate app. Open ChromeKO in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen, and the game opens full screen, like an app. Setup steps for Android and iPhone come first below. To try it right now, try it now as a guest; no sign-up needed.

Knight Online mobile setup on Android

  1. Open Chrome and type chromeko.com in the address bar.
  2. Open the browser menu, the icon with three dots.
  3. Choose "Add to Home screen" ("Ana ekrana ekle").
  4. Tap the ChromeKO icon that appears on your home screen. The game opens full screen.
  5. If you don't have an account, register for free, then press "Play" ("Oyunu Başlat").

From then on, open the game from the home screen icon instead of typing the address. If the option is missing from the menu, update Chrome and reopen the page.

iPhone and iPad, step by step

  1. Open chromeko.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button. On most iPhones it sits in the bottom bar.
  3. Choose "Add to Home Screen" ("Ana Ekrana Ekle").
  4. Open ChromeKO from the icon on your home screen.

The same steps work on an iPad. Adding to the home screen only creates a shortcut; to remove it, long-press the icon as you would any other app.

First settings for phone play

  • Hold it sideways. The game is more comfortable in landscape.
  • Learn the touch controls. On your first login, spend a few minutes moving your character, tapping a monster and trying the on-screen controls. Trying movement and attacks once makes later sessions easier.
  • Choose your connection. Wi-Fi or a good 4G/5G connection works well. On mobile data, avoid large downloads.
  • Close other apps. Apps left running in the background use the phone's resources.
  • Watch the heat. Playing a long time in direct sun or inside a thick case warms the phone. If it gets very hot, take a short break.
  • Turn off notifications. If notifications slide over the screen during play, your taps can land in the wrong place. Silence them before you start a session.
  • Check the battery. If it's low, playing while charging gives you an uninterrupted session.

Useful tools for short sessions

Long sessions aren't always possible on a phone. For sessions of a few minutes, these pages help:

  • Quest page: shows each quest's level, its EXP, Noah and item rewards.
  • Drop page: shows which monster drops which item, and the chance.
  • Map page: shows each zone's monster levels and hunting areas.
  • Upgrade page: an anvil simulator; try the server's real rates without spending Noah.
  • Genie: an automatic hunting feature. Its time comes from the PUS Store or from the Genie Hammer, which the Noah Merchant sells for Noah. For details, read the Genie guide.

For a short session, a good order is this: pick a target on the quest page, then check that zone's route on the map page. At the end of the session, compare the items you picked up with the drop page.

Connection, heat and dropouts

  • If your connection drops, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and check the signal. Then open the game again from its home screen icon. Refreshing the page again and again only wastes time; wait a moment first.
  • Leaving the phone locked for a long time can drop your connection. Tap the icon again to get back in.
  • If you're in a party, returning within five minutes puts you back in it. For party EXP sharing and the drop bonus, see the party guide.
  • If the connection keeps dropping, move to a more stable network.

If the game won't open on your phone

  • You stay on the login screen. Go back to chromeko.com and press "Play" ("Oyunu Başlat"); the home screen icon may be opening an old page.
  • You tap the icon and nothing happens. Remove the icon from the home screen, then add it again from chromeko.com with "Add to Home screen."
  • The screen won't rotate. Make sure the phone's auto-rotate lock is off, so you can play in landscape.
  • The page loads slowly. Close background tabs and apps, switch to Wi-Fi, and open the game again.
