ChromeKO Explained: Chrome KO, Edge KO and Browser Play

In short: ChromeKO is the name of a Knight Online server that you play in the browser at play.chromeko.com. Chrome KO, Edge KO, EdgeKO and Firefox KO are searches for the same server, opened in a different browser.

ChromeKO is the name of the Knight Online server you play in a web browser. Players search for it as "Chrome KO", "Edge KO", "EdgeKO" or "Firefox KO", and all of these lead to the same place, play.chromeko.com. The browser name only tells you how you open the game; the server is the same. To try it now, try it now as a guest.

ChromeKO is a server name

A Knight Online server is the world where players meet. ChromeKO is the name of that world: the Karus and El Morad nations, Moradon, castles and events all live there. You open it from a browser and download nothing.

So ChromeKO is the server, and the browser is simply the door in. The browser does not change the world; it only decides how you connect to it.

If you are new to the game itself, start with what Knight Online is.

Chrome KO, Edge KO and the others

All of these searches lead to the same server:

  • Chrome KO: ChromeKO opened in Google Chrome.
  • Edge KO or EdgeKO: the same server in Microsoft Edge. Writing it as one word is the same search.
  • Firefox KO: the same server in Firefox, which also works.
  • Safari KO: the same server in Safari on iPhone and iPad.

On a computer, an up-to-date Chrome or Edge is recommended. For browser settings, see the Knight Online Chrome and Edge guide.

Two addresses

chromeko.com is the site: news, rankings, sign-up and the "Play" ("Oyunu Başlat") button are there. The game itself opens at play.chromeko.com. The site also has tools that help you play: the drop search shows which monster drops an item, the anvil simulator lets you practise with the server's real rates without spending Noah, and the quest list sorts quests by level.

Does the browser change anything?

The world, classes and rules stay the same. The browser affects how the game is drawn on your screen and how much load it puts on your computer. That is why an up-to-date Chrome or Edge is recommended, and Firefox works too. Whichever browser you choose, the login steps are the same.

How to log in

If you already have an account, go to chromeko.com and press "Play" ("Oyunu Başlat"). The game opens at play.chromeko.com, and you continue with your own account name and password.

Once you are logged in, you play inside the browser tab. Nothing needs to be downloaded or launched each time.
