Knight Online Warrior Guide: Front Line, Party and PvP

In short: The Warrior is the Knight Online close-combat class that fights at the front and takes the enemy's hits, so it anchors a party and draws the first attacks. Solo hunting asks for patience; in parties and PvP the front-line role is the job.

This Knight Online warrior guide is for players who like standing at the front and taking hits. Solo, it fights up close at a steady pace. In a party, it draws the enemy's attention. In PvP, its durability is the main strength. This guide covers its role, how to level it and whether it suits you.

Knight Online warrior guide: what the role is

The Warrior fights with swords, axes, clubs or a shield and moves right up to the enemy. Its durability takes the attacks, so the rest of your party, and your own tempo, stay safer. For ranged classes behind it, the front line is the Warrior's main job.

Think about the role in three settings.

Solo hunting

Alone, you fight close and move at a patient pace. Each monster has to be finished up close, so you cannot pull from a safe distance. For a player who likes close combat, solo hunting is satisfying: move in, hit, hold, continue.

In a party

In a party the Warrior usually takes the front. When several monsters come at once, drawing the enemy lets your allies hit freely. Parties share EXP, and the drop rate grows with each extra member. The rules are in the party guide.

In PvP

PvP, meaning battles against other players, needs courage and attention. Standing at the front makes you the target. Durability is an advantage here, but if you are alone you can struggle against a ranged or fast class. It is safer to enter PvP with a friend. Check the events page to follow the battles.

How a Warrior levels up

Start in Moradon. Its monsters run from level 1 to 60, and the first quests begin at level 1.

  1. Moradon (level 1 and up): Finish the first quests. For a step-by-step path, use the quest guide.
  2. Luferson Castle (Karus) or El Morad Castle (El Morad), around level 35: These castles have quests from level 35 to 68 and their own monsters. A Warrior's durability gives a good base for holding the front in crowded areas.
  3. Karus Eslant or El Morad Eslant, levels 64 to 80: These zones have quests from level 64 to 80.
  4. Ronark Land Base, levels 70 to 80: This zone has monsters from level 46 to 85 and quests from level 70 to 80.

Check which monster is where on the maps. To pick a hunting spot for your level, read the leveling spots guide. If you want to go faster, the fast leveling guide helps.

Upgrades: Warrior gear

For a class that takes hits at the front, upgrading armour and weapons is worth prioritising. Rates and the Noah cost are in the upgrade guide.

Does the Warrior suit you?

If most of these are a yes, the Warrior may be your class:

  • Standing at the front and taking hits does not bother me.
  • I enjoy the tempo of close combat.
  • I want to be the backbone of a party.
  • I am ready to hunt patiently solo.
  • I am happy to hold the front line in PvP.

If most are a no, look at a ranged or fast class. For a side-by-side view, read the classes overview.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Warrior good for beginners?

Yes, if you enjoy the front line. You can spend your first levels on Moradon quests and then move to a castle. For picking a side, read Karus or El Morad.

Can a Warrior hunt alone?

Yes, but the pace can be slow. If you want faster progress, parties give shared EXP and better drop rates.
