Knight Online Guide: Start Here, Step by Step

In short: The Knight Online guide is a step-by-step route for players opening the game for the first time or coming back. On ChromeKO registration and play are free, and it covers account and nation choice, quests, daily rewards and Genie in order.

This Knight Online guide is the shortest route for players who are new to the game, or who are coming back after years away. It explains what the game is, how your first steps go, how quests and daily rewards work and what Genie does. On ChromeKO registration and play are free, and the game opens in your browser. To try it without installing anything, try it now as a guest.

What is Knight Online and how do you play it?

Knight Online is an MMORPG built around two nations, Karus and El Morad, who fight each other. PvP, clans and castles sit at its centre. You choose one of five classes and then advance through the zones. For a plain definition and the key terms, read What is Knight Online.

First step: account and nation

Start by signing up or trying the guest option. If you want to keep playing under your own name and password, the sign-up guide shows the registration form and the first character steps. Your nation is your first big choice: it decides who you play on the same side with, and which castle and king you support. The nation guide explains how to make that choice together with your friends.

Your first hour: quests and daily rewards

For a newcomer, progress comes from quests. The quest guide explains quests from level 1 to 80, the in-game quest list opened with Q, and the quests page, which shows each quest's giver, targets and rewards. Quests give EXP, Noah and items, and quest tips point you to the targets on the minimap and the big map.

Logging in every day also pays. The daily rewards guide covers attendance rewards, the event shop and Temporary Inventory. Rebuy buys back items sold to an NPC or destroyed, but it does not bring back an item burned in a failed upgrade.

Automatic hunting: Genie

Genie is the game feature that hunts automatically for your character. On ChromeKO its time comes from the PUS Store, or from the Genie Hammer that the Noah Merchant sells for Noah, so paying is not required. The Genie guide explains how to use it and when it helps.

Weekend EXP bonus

On ChromeKO the EXP bonus applies on Saturday and Sunday, at 25%. Using it well means not skipping quests and hunting with a party. The EXP bonus guide explains the boost in detail, and the leveling spots guide shows where to hunt for your level.

Moradon and the zones

You start in Moradon, the central city where most first tasks happen. Your quests then take you to Luferson Castle, Eslant and other zones. Rather than memorizing which monster belongs to which level, check the map page. The Moradon guide covers the first monsters and quests in the city.

Play on your phone too

If you are away from your computer, you can open the game on a phone. On Android, use Chrome; on iPhone, use Safari. Add chromeko.com to your home screen and the game opens full screen from its icon. The steps are in the mobile guide.

Your first-day checklist

  • Sign up, or enter as a guest.
  • Pick your first quest from the Q list and find its target on the map.
  • Log in every day so you don't miss attendance rewards.
